THE NATURE OF LIGHT/GOD

In Numbers 23 : 19, the Bible says, “God is not a man….”. In the same Bible, in 1John I : 5 It says “This then is the message which we have heard of him and declare unto you that, God is Light”. In verse 7, it continues, “But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another”. So, what is the nature of this light?

In the realm of quantum physics, light is a photon – an electromagnetic radiation. Hence God is photon, and if we were all made in the image and likeness of God then, we are all photons operating in a physical body. Therefore, as we have been taught, we must not look at the body of individuals, but the electrical energy within that individual which is of God. This is beautifully expressed in our temple service as follows, “To reach that realisation let us endeavour each day to forget the often unprepossessing exteriors of our brothers and seek to serve the divine essence hidden within which is the basis of fellowship.

Science says, 90% of the universe is dark matter. In occult anatomy too, 90% of the brain is not known. This is where God/Light dwells. The bible confirms this in various places; Psalm 18 : 11 “He made darkness his secrete place”. 1King 8 : 12 “The Lord said that, he will dwell in thick darkness”. Isaiah 45 : 3 “And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secrete places, that you may know me”. The entire awesome power of cosmic life is coming to us from a part of the universe or the brain that we cannot see. Religion calls it Spirit, yet analysis points the word spirit to light which is God or photon – a combinations of atom, electron, proton etc, it is real. It is in this darkness that we can reveal the light.

In the Rosicrucian Fellowship Temple Service, we read these words every evening; “My dear sisters and brothers once more we have withdrawn from the material world and are entering into the living temple of our own inner natures in spiritual conclave. As a symbol of this withdrawal from the visible world we have darkened our meeting place. W are looking for spiritual light along the lines of the Rosicrucian Teaching and we therefore reverently fix our eyes upon the Rose Cross while we listen to the Rosicrucian greeting”.

Also, in Christianity Lecture number 18, The Lord’s Prayer, Max Heindel Likened us to electricity. Let us listen to what he said, “In a previous lecture, prayer was said to be an opening up of a channel along which the divine Life and Light may flow into the Spirit, in the same way that the turning of switch opens the way for the electric current to flow from the power – house into our house. Faith in prayer is like the energy which turns the switch. Without muscular force we cannot turn the switch to obtain physical light, and without faith we cannot pray in such a manner as to secure spiritual illumination. If we pray for worldly ends, for that which is contrary to the law of love and universal good, our prayers will prove as unavailing as a glass switch in an electrical circuit. Glass is a non-conductor, a bar to the electric power, and selfish prayers are, likewise, bars to divine purposes and must therefore remain unanswered”.

Since we are lights and hence electro-beings, we must do well to practice the exercises of concentration, meditation, retrospection and silent prayer, so that, we raise the electrical energy from the base of the spine through the spinal canal (spiritual laboratory or the path of discipleship) into the head and stimulate the pituitary and pineal glands into vibration and to get the light (the 3rd eye). This is what Christ meant when He said in Matthew 6 : 22, “The light of the body is the eye, if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light.” The more we activate the pineal gland, the more light we will receive.

Again, in quantum realms, the word spiritual is meant electrical. As our Teachings tell us, if we look at scripture from thousands of years ago, we cannot dwell too much at the story. That is deliberately constructed to mislead those who will not follow God or Christ’s plan of inner meditation, unconditional love, self-less service to humanity and above all silence. We do not look at the story or the person in the story. We look at the ‘principle’ that the person in the story represents. As St. Pauls says, “Milk for babes and meat for strong men” In the same way, Christ gave parables to the multitudes and privately explained them to His disciples.

The truth is that, the ways of God as far as life on planet earth is concerned is based on electricity. God has created the human brain so that it can receive and communicate information electronically. This is a fact and something that we have to accept if we really want a mature approach to this thing we call SPIRIT/LIGHT and for that matter GOD.
